The Digital Library is the dedicated platform for sharing the digitised heritage of the museum. Visitors browsing the Library can access exclusive content featuring testimonies from the elders of the Dorgali and Cala Gonone communities, collected as part of the “Community Cataloguing Project”, co-funded by the Italian Culture Ministry through the TOCC (Ecological Transition for Cultural and Creative Organisations) programme for the digitalisation of Italian museums. S’Abba Frisca is the first museum in Sardinia to offer citizens the opportunity to upload multimedia content to the section of the website devoted to the Library, focusing on the relationship between the museum’s collections and their communities. Users are then encouraged to visit Sardinia’s largest ethnographic museum, to discover the artefacts, settings and landscapes that lie behind each of the stories told in the Digital Library.
